Sales and the 'Talent Magnet'

A lot is written about being a ‘Talent Magnet’, either as a company, or as President. It’s all good practice – listen, mentor, reward, provide clear goals and career maps. Good practice for the employer, but what about the employee?

Absolute Systems Company Profile

In the 13 years that they have been trading, Absolute Systems have built up a strong reputation as a supplier of comprehensive ATM and self-service terminal solutions to banks. A number of the largest financial institutions have already put their trust in the company. Absolute Systems is owned by David Longe and Bruce Diesel, the founders, and Cycad Financial Holdings.

Historically, in excess of 1.3 million ATMs have been installed by banks worldwide. The systems, however, have hardly evolved. This has been due to the fact that there has been little extension of functionality beyond basic services (cash withdrawal), coupled with stable card standards and long life technology, which required large investments.

Significant business and technology pressures have recently emerged which has meant that the situation is rapidly changing and banks are being forced to re-asses their current strategies. They are being forced to invest in new solutions for their ATM networks.

Absolute Systems has already established itself as a supplier of modern ATM solutions, which conform to the requirements of the new generation. Because the software is all they do, they do it the best!

The Absolute Systems product, AbsoluteINTERACT, is a multi-vendor, multi-channel software solution. It has been developed using state of the art technology and software development techniques. The product has successfully passed the Microsoft Certification Process. AbsoluteINTERACT provides financial institutions with a redevelopment path from OS/2 to Windows and is XFS open systems compliant. This software enables convergence of the ATM, SST and Branch Teller channels.

AbsoluteINTERACT facilitates the introduction of the “personalised ATM” and the inclusion of value added services such as the dispensing of coupons, advertising and ticketing.

Multi- functional ATMs are the ATMs of the future. Absolute Systems are thought leaders in the development of software solutions, which address the needs of a rapidly changing environment. Innovation is a cornerstone of the company.

Absolute Systems, setting the new standard in self service software.
