I do find it baffling that, as reports from this week show, Citgroup lost US$18.9bn in 2008. How do you lose that much money without it going unnoticed? "Oops".

How long is it before RBS or one of the UK' other high-street banks goes down the pan? It's a dire situation and the UK is saddling the country with even more mountainous debt by part-nationalising them.
